Further information
This historical wine experience in the land of Botticino Marble is much more than a simple wine tasting: it's a journey through time, discovering one of Italy's smallest and oldest DOCs.
THE LAND
The experience takes place within the original estate, still unchanged within its boundaries and home to vineyards ranging from 50 to 100 years old. Here, among hills 400 meters above sea level and a subsoil rich in marble, wines are born that embody the authenticity of the territory and the unbreakable bond between stone and vine.
THE EXPERIENCE
The visit begins with a historical excursus: you'll discover how the farmers of Botticino lived and worked over the centuries, as well as how noble and bourgeois families from Brescia spent their holidays in the countryside. A short video will take you on a virtual encounter with these characters, thanks to the reenactment of actors who brought the ancient inhabitants of the Gobbio farmhouse to life.
The heart of the experience is the tasting: 4 wines (Rosato L'aura, Botticino DOC Ulivi, Botticino DOC Pià de la Tesa, Botticino DOC Gobbio) are served in the renovated stable, now the tasting room.
Each glass is paired with local cured meats and cheeses, served exclusively with period furnishings and tableware, for an authentic immersion in tradition.
Finally, to make the moment truly special, you can dress in period clothing and imagine yourself as a farmer or nobleman of the time.
The final Polaroid shot, among the historic vineyards, will be the perfect souvenir to take home.
